This book is dedicated to the posterity of William and Mary Gines. Thank you to all those who contributed in any way. Your contributions have made my grandparents, who I hardly knew, come alive on these pages for me. They are my ancestors, and I am able to love them more now than I did before compiling this book. I hope others in their posterity are also able to feel more connected and learn from the stories herein.
